Music is my Muse - June 2019

Okay, so for those who have been around Shimmy Sistah for awhile, recalling my weekly bebops and jams I shared with you all with hopes of creating virtually syndicated shimmy sessions should be pretty effortless. I mean, I even had an entire section dedicated strictly to music. In other words, my blog was basically MySpace on steroids! Yet guess what? It’s nowhere to be found now! Tragic, I know!

Therefore, without further ado, it’s time to start posting my curated playlists and new tunes I’ve been vibing with each month!

*go ahead and clap*

Since my robbery, I’ve been earnestly trying to recreate my playlists from my 2009 iPod that was stolen by vaguely remembering all 600+ songs that were stored on the tiny device. I say this as a forewarning because as a result, June has been filled with tons of throwbacks, some new joints I heard while shopping for bargains at TJMaxx, and a few randoms just to throw you for a loop and liven the mood a bit. Forgive me in advance, follow me on Spotify by clicking here, and ROCK ON!
